There are lots of homes available at any given time across the GTA (in excess of 8,000). Here is a sampling for you to get an idea of the prices and features available right now.
BTW - when we say "homes", we are including condos.
MLS shows mostly resale (previously owned) homes and very few brand new homes. Builders like to sell these at sales centres - kind of inconvenient.
Tip: You can and should use a realtor®, plus a good lawyer to assist you for brand new homes (not just resales) since builders pay the fees and the price is the same either way. Get professional, experienced help that is dedicated to you, not the builder/seller. Makes sense.
Factoid: Often price and/or addresses are missing from these website-sponsored listings. We do not control all these listings. Realtors agree to advertise each other's listings on a selective basis (kind of a mini-MLS system).
Tip: The main purpose of advertising listings (even for the listing agent and especially for all the other agents) is to have you call them for information and for that realtor to try to get you as their buyer client if not for this listing, then for some other. Not a bad thing, but even so, be forewarned. This applies to using MLS.ca search (public version of MLS) as well.
The best way to get on top of what's out there is to have a realtor® place you on a true MLS search (only realtors have access to the mothership) with your specific list of wants and needs. I know this sounds self-serving (for agents) but it happens to be true. But, you can use the tools below for now if you are in the early stages and just sizing things up.
Okay, moving on, with the above limitations in mind (i.e.; not all listings represented and not all information provided per listing) this kind of quick and easy search tool is not bad for your early days of exploring.
Take your pick of the search tools below.
